    Well, after blowing the board on my original gscartsw box I had to have it fixed. For the first time I've been able to witness the excellent quality of this product. The image is rock steady and the automatic switching is flawless. Easily the best bit of AV kit I've bought in years.

    That's a pretty awesome setup Yakumo, I'm currently trying to achieve something similar. I have a Framemeister in the mail and I'm hoping to order a gscartsw some day. Also replaced all my Scart cables with CSYNC versions...

    I still don't know why CSync is needed for some TVs. In the 30 years of using RGB I've never needed it. But if you do you'll be happy to know that the gscartsw has a CSync switch on it :)

    Walked into the flea market with 75$ and walked out with all this and still had money to get myself lunch and a few energy drinks while there.

    This came in the post today!

    Sold as junk but in 100% mint condition. Even the manual is as new!

    Lovely and white. no yellowing at all.

    But not all was good. The center gear has shattered. This is a known common fault though so I had ordered a replacement kit in advance.

    Here is the replacement kit. Not an easy install if you have fat fingers!

    So I put it all back together with my fingers crossed that it would work! The disc started to spin and.....

    It worked!! I didn't have any games but it's happily playing an audio CD.

    I'm really happy that I got this working as I did have my doubts I'd be able to fit the lock washer on to the gear.

    Yeah, finding them with a box is becoming a little tricky. When you do find one in a box it's quite often yellowed. I'm pretty lucky with this one. Even the plastic window on the CD drive is perfectly free of any scratches.

    Yeah it looks mint, my interface unit isn't so shiny but was very cheap and was supposidely faulty but wasn't really. I did spend a bit on the drive and it works a treat. By far my favourite pce config.
