I was brought up on the Amiga and would love to get back into the scene. Pain in the ass finding one down in the south west, they're always on eBay in some far away county and nobody will ever post the damn things.

The Amiga had some graphics (and code also maybe) for a Sega Megadrive game called "Combat Cars".

Not gaming related but i did get me a G1 android phone, swapped my blackberry for it which i was happy about as i started to not like the blackberry.

Currently got Cyanogenmod 6.0.0-DS running on it which gives me android 2.2.

Bought a 40GB PS3 for £50 (that's about $80). Not sure if that's a good deal or not yet, seeing as it may have a drive problem (see this thread if you know any good places to source parts :) ) but still, it's about a third of the current going rate for a second-hand one.

    Let's hope for the best.

Finally got me a Wireless Receiver ordered so i can use my 360 pad on my PC to play the games that aren't suited to keyboard and mouse like Pro Evo and stuff.

Also finally got COD:MW and Splinter cell double agent on the 360.

Play and charge kit doesn't send any data, unless there was some breakthrough that I havent heard about.

I found it cheaper to buy a Wireless receiver on it's own than a wired controller (even a 3rd party wired controller) plus i have a play and charge kit so no real need to go wired.

My latest gaming addition is burnout paradise on the PC although i bought it not really for the offline single player game but mainly the online side which should be quite good for when i just need and easy fun game to play.

Bought a copy of Black for PS2 for £1, forgotten how good this game was. Just ordered a set of PS2 component cables for £2.99 hopefully they'll make system look better on my LCD TV.

Black is one of the few PAL PS2 titles that supported 480p via component. I think you have to activate it in the game menu, but once you have it turned on, it will look brilliant on an LCD.

I wonder what Gran Turismo 4 looks like on an LCD. I heard that at least the Japanese version supports 1080i?!

Well that's what I've read but apparently there is no progressive scan on the PAL version of Black. I'm hoping the forums I've found are wrong, it's such an awesome game I'm desperate to work through it again but I'm leaving it well alone until the cable arrives.
