16mb/s dsl for me, usually I get around 14 per second, as I live close to the exchange, and I get around 512 to 1mb upload.

Try a different test server for a lower ping and it will increase your speed test as well. And as for me I have 3G internet so it depends on the weather

Wow Amazing what can Happen to my connection speed when you start going a couple thousand miles away.

Being serious tho that server I connected to was horrible.

EDIT: Proof of just how shitting that server was xD.

Well, it seems like my ISP started messing around with the connections again. They do this every time they start making tests to raise the bandwidth:
This one was the only server where I actually could finish the test, the rest of them I tried started with speeds around 100kbps and fell to zero a few seconds later.
For the moment I'm unable to access almost any site (but for some reason I just can't understand I can surf through the boards at full speed). I hope to get a 2Mbps 3G connection for next month, the price is almost the same and it totally worths it...

I have a 3G 2mbps line and even using FTP's or Usenet I have never hot 1mbps. I have came close with 105kb/s once when the weather is clear but it is highly over rated. It is a small step up from 128k ISDN. My upload has never even seen 15 kb/s :( It really sucks as before the move I had a 20mbps dwn and 10 mbps up for less than what I am paying for 3G but at least it isn't dialup I guess.

    just t-mobile going all retro!

My area is a bit of blackspot for tv/radio/mobile signals, and that was on a rainy day.
