    I was getting them for $5 each up to $45 each. All sold out everywhere though so I would say least $45 each. They only work with a v12 or v13 slim ps2 though.

    The only value I see in them is the HDD case that comes with it and maybe the "collectors-item"-aspect?
    There are newer kits which come with built in SATA support + drawing power for the (2,5") HDD from the PS2 ... for 17$

    Very true. Couldn't agree more. The thing I liked about it is that it had its own case which held the harddrive and 2 extra fans for cooling.

    If you are talking about HD Pro it connects through modchip which is slow.

    HD combo connects directly to v12 IDE interface.

    There is SATA HD connect but without case.

    i'd actually be interested in this....... no clue on price though. want to get a slim debug and connect this, think it would work?
