Oh, I'm happy to be the hero of someone :)

No, that's the official D-Cable from Nintendo but with the output connection moddified for vga... and with this I can enable the progressive scan mode.

Here some pics of the cable for clear your doubts.

Any that support Prog Scan. I believe it only works on US/JP consoles though.

Progressive scan is enabled in Ntsc and Pal consoles, but only the ntsc games are developed in progressive scan. If you have a Pal console and you want to play games in progressive scan mode, while you need the Free Loader to load ntsc games. I don't understand this policy about Pal games :(

I kick ass to Nintendo Europe and I bought the GC Spice just for this, the vga support it's very clean.

But not all ntsc/pal games supports progressive scan. For example:

    -Resident Evil ramake
    -Resident Evil Zero
    -Extreme G 3
    -Beyond good and evil
    -NBA Street 1 & 2
    -Batman Vengeance

It's a big disapoinment that RE and RE ø don't support progressive scan!! :'(

I'd guess the reason is just that very few TV's sold in pal regions support prog scan, so it wouldnt be useful to many people - mind you, if its already supported in game, why remove it?

An old setup situation with my old 17" monitor.

If I take a DV camera I will film a mini video in 360º ;) playing to Unreal 2k3 or Max Payne at 1920x1200 (full screen). Few games supports this resolution mode.

Nice setup. I like how your room is like actually clean and furnished with style, and everyone else's is just shit all over the place.

Good interior decorating you got there.
