I see i have some pc doujin games but i'm not really into them anymore. I will only buy professional large box pc98 games as they look more legitimate . i think most of best games for the pc98 had a actual release anyway.
There are 2 types really; 1 distributed by Takeru on their vending platform (these come in a disk sized black plastic case with print out instructions. For games sold at Comike and the like, they usually only are plastic bags with photocopied materials.
