[PC] Silent Hill: The Arcade - PLAYABLE on Windows! + tutorial

Try checking everything its ok. Net Framework, Visual C++, DirectX, Drivers, etc.

 

I managed to get it to work now, but thanks for the suggestion though.

 

So does anyone know what i can do to fix it? All the enemies are invisible

I've also the same issue. My OS is win 8.1 x64 pro edition, like your pc. Any suggestions?

 

I've done everything in the first post but I just get a green looking screen though you can shoot and hear the sounds and see the cursor. Any ideas? I tried taking a prt scr but it didn't work :/

about game troubles: Well, only thing i can say SH Arcade is hardware incompatible with some pc's system specifications. It's seems like some troubles totally can't be fixed. The only way to try it on another pc over and over again until you will find one, that works - this is true solution.

Don't use Winrar/other, use only lastes official 7-zip build to unpack my reuploaded files.

Still no way to have a windowed game? I don't know how much the hardware is related, but it is possible with that Contra Evolution PC-based arcade.

 

Love the Silent Hill games 1-4, haven't played much after that. This looks interesting, though!

 

Thanks. This is the only Silent Hill game I have not played. Its actually a coincidence because I have been saving up to purchase one of the arcade cabinets and have it shipped to my house for my game loft room. Guess I don't need to now.

Also, a suggestion: Id recommend you upload to Mega. Its much, much faster than awful media fire and has no ads or capthas.

EDIT: Crashes right when the "Now Loading..." screen appears.

 

Mega is every second time will display "temporary error" for many IP's.

 

I cant seem to get this to work lol, no matter what i do it crashes each time i try to load it? xD any help?

 

Always crashes for me after it says "Now Loading".

Crashes on all 3 of my desktops.

 

when I clicked to run the game it made all my desktop icons vanish and all I could see was my wallpaper , But I wont bother asking for help...

 

So I did see mention in this thread about how to add the second player to the game, which I have been able to do. The question is, does someone know how to actually control second player's aiming and shooting when the game starts?

 

Same problem here with second player, you cqn map the buttons but the aiming seems to be off

 

First of all, I want to thank all of you that make my dream comes true; I played this game with the original cabinet in Tokyo in the 2007 and finishing the game now was absolutley stunning for me!!!
Finally, I managed to get it to work with ffdshow.
