I would love to get ahold of that service disc for my qoob. I didn't know such a thing existed. I was looking at a dvd region free chip mod but made zero headway. Any chance the place you got it has another one?

The qoob is a modchip. Do you have a panasonic Q system?

Is it the Panasonic Service disc TS20 (disc2)?
any leads on where to obtain one?

If someone uploads it, this could actually just work on a normal DVDR....

Well there are two known exploits for the Gamecube which could theoretically allow you to boot homebrew on an unmodded console, in this case the Panasonic Q
    Home Bros by Extrems
    Twilight Hack by FIX94

    NOTE:
*You can use a Wii to transfer the save to the GC memory card
**Not sure if Swiss will boot the service disc but worth a shot I guess

EDIT: For some reason I thought we were talking about the GC Service Disc but I guess not! Sorry

I saw lots of info a out this disc requiring an "authoring burner" because of data placement on disc. Someone did manage to get it duplicated with primo dvd and the old panasonic 201 burners that we all used to have back in the early days of burning.
I wanted it to attempt it myself but also fix my q.

Don't suppose you can dump the disc for us would you? I'd love to mess around with the data and attempt to get a good copy working for everyone.

There is no authoring burner. It's just burned with a normal dvd burner.

Yes, there are such things as authoring burners and authoring discs. They are recorded at a different wave length.

I'm in the UK and if a few people want to chip in, I will buy the disc and post an image

    Edit:
I've also bought an authoring burner.

If you contact a mod and let them know what the situation is, its likely they will waive the requirement. Assemblergames rules aren't super strict and set in stone. The mods are very good about understanding special circumstances and are very open to the community.

Did you order the one from my link at multiregionupgrades.co.uk? I've been so close to hitting buy but not certain if it's the right disc for the q.

I have no q, else I'd have bought it and tried copying it with the authoring burner I bought. I have even bought an old shuttle pc and scsi card, so it all ready to go.
