Pacman 2 The New Adventures

I think this game is really only criticized for the poor controls. Besides the aweful controls, I thought the game was enjoyable. I think it deserves a remaster and would be AN EXCELLENT CHOICE for a mobile release and due to the nature of the game could make for good controls on touch screen. I think it could really redeem the reputation of the game.

 

It was a great game and does indeed deserve a 2D remake?

 

I dunno why nobody's tacked on mouse support. It's so obvious for this game, isn't it?

 

I still wonder why Rez doesnt have a PC port seeing as it has keyboard and mouse support.

As for the OP - have any people left reviews stating that touch controls would be a good idea? Normally reviews are a good way to give feedback, not just give a rating.

 

Good point, mouse support would also alleviate the controlling issue!

 

I have not seen any reviews mention touch controls, I just thought it would work well for the game. Practically every review complains about the controls, and rightfully so. The controls were horrible!

 

Pac-Man has a weird, almost too-realistic amount of personality in Pac-Man 2

Gotta say, AI and technological strides aside, he is more Earthly than 98% of video game characters - even ones that have only been introduced in the past 5 years

How difficult do you guys think it would it be to have either mouse support or touch screen support implemented into the game?

 

Considering it was a Genesis game, I'm going to say very difficult.
