Old modchip Messiah-X

Messiah-X modchip for original v1.0 Xbox. This chip was on a motherboard in a joblot of Xboxes that recently won on ebay. I don't know too much about it, but it is an early one It is attached to the underside of the motherboard.

By modern standards it is very primitive. It'll work but it's only worth is as a curiosity. I've been slowly collecting old modchips for a collection and this is one that I've had trouble locating.

 

Very jealous of that find. I'm always on the hunt for xbox modchips that I don't have or haven't heard much about, thats really an interesting find!

 

That's a great find especially rely xbox mod chip

 

I am thinking of TSOPing the motherboard and then removing the chip. I will proberly then sell it

Thats's a very handy and long list

 

Interesting i remember that modchip was used back in the day dont remember how many cables? soldered the matrix and the chameleon too and the homebrew chip 29 cables from that time.
