Mattel, Atari, Coleco, SEGA, NEC, SNK, and more. Imagine if, after decades from being knocked out of the ring, they are back with cash to spare and a desire to take back the crown.

What type of consoles would they make? Would they succeed?

Colecovision 2! Now with even more numeral buttons! Intellivision 360, still using awful disc pads! Atari Puma, now with Blu-ray... NEC Ultra PC-Engine, comes in six separate boxes. SEGA Dreamcast 2, with Shenmu 3 as an exclusive!

Not to go off-topic, but I'd be more interested in various developers entering the Console race. Can you imagine a RARE console?

To go with the topic, it'd be interesting to see how Atari and Sega would handle modern consoles. More Atari, since one of the last consoles we got from them was the Jaguar.
