Hmm, it's not just Nintendo stuff though. I find I can win things on Yahoo Auctions without much contest. While eBay seems to get into massive bidding wars over things that you can buy for less from a seller using "buy it now". M Jet fuel can't melt plastic Amiibos.
So much hate for amiibos. I love them. I hate the fake rarity. Im missing like... 5 amiibos. Still need to collect all the animal crossing amiibo cards, but cost is super high. One amiibo I'm worried that I won't get is the gold Mario. We'll see.
Of course it's not, but it's the worst for it. It's ok to hate amiibos here, but just not fallout 4. You'll get called a troll, trust me. Gold Mario was only sold at Target here. Apparently there was a big line in the mornings for them. Sadly if a child wanted one they had no chance... Mario rarely sold, but colour it completely in gold and everyone loses their damn minds. I don't remember the big craze for the Silver one though.
The gold Mario was a huge pain and I still don't have one. Couldn't get in to Target before about 9:30 as I had to work but of course they were all gone by then. Sold out nationwide by the next day. I even got attacked & blocked by someone I'd known on instagram for years because I called her out as a scalper when she posted 3 of them. Ahh, damn amiibo. Plenty of the giant yarn Yoshis left here in Australia though.
I can buy 10 if i want to. But he i'm from Germany. Stores are full with them. On the other hand. The shovel night amiibo is coming.
You think that's bad... I once camped out at Best Buy in freezing weather for a Black Friday laptop deal. Close to opening, they started handing out vouchers. The person in front of me (with similar skin color as me) gets a voucher. They skip me. I ask, "What about me?" The guy handing out the vouchers replies, "One per family." I say, "I don't even know who he is!" "One per household. No exceptions." Complained about it to the manager, he gave me a deal on a much worse laptop. Best he could do to make up for the racism. I didn't step foot inside a Best Buy for years after that.
