Nintendo Super Mario 3D World promotional cat ears?!

Yesterday I went to Gamestop to pick up the new Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze. A Nintendo Representative was there during my visit and gave me some Super Mario 3D World promo cat ears. This is a first for me.

Put it in a plastic bag and sell it in a few years time!

 

It's currently in the plastic bag that it came in

 

Now put the plastik bag in a plastik box and sell it for $20,000 on ebay!

 

Cat ears to promote a Mario game. Now I've seen it all.

I think that only works if you put a sticker with an arbitrary number on it.

I've heard the game is like all about cats. Haven't played it, cause I don't know anyone IRL with a Wii U.

...you have to admit they paid attention to detail though. It's the Year Of Luigi, so they chose to give out Luigi-green ears instead of Mario-yellow ones. :encouragement:

 

they also had pink and yellow ears that they were giving away as well

 

You can change into a cat suit in the game and its a large part of the game so i think thats why they are giving out the cat ears

 

You're joking, but a few years from now... who knows. At the current rate, eventually Super Mario Bros./Duck Hunt will sell for $40 billion.

Anyway, that's pretty cool. I wish they gave out stuff like that more often.
