Hey guys, I'm just wondering what my Super Marathon is actually worth.

It's probably tough to price due to it not being sold so often, but any ideas?

Something tells me it's worth more than that.

Sorry, I should've been more specific. When I posted in the price check forum I expected people to automatically insert the word 'realistic' behind 'price'.

The offers I've been receiving seem to say otherwise. (Aka. $1000+)

I'd say what the next person thinks its worth, if it's what/more than you think it's worth...

Without the outer box it can cost more than $200. As extremely few sealed copies are known to have been sold in the past, it's naturally not possible to determine a reliable estimation. I think $1000 are possible, but then again only if you find the right person. That being said, I would doubt that it would sell for less than that in a public auction, and it could sell for more if you deal privately with someone who is really looking for it. $75 is as much realistic as $75,000.

As stated by Hex, you clearly don't have a clue. This game is extremely rare and doesn't turn up very often. You have been warned several times to play nice, and continue to cause trouble. Consider this your final warning.

Alright, thanks. I'm not exactly looking to sell it any time soon, but I will eventually.

Wow, what a beautiful copy of Super Marathon! I've never seen such a nice copy before. As for value, I've really only seen a handful of copies change hands in the past 5 years and never a sealed copy. Generally speaking, the nice boxed copies for $300-$500. A sealed copy could easily sell for 2x-3x a nice boxed copy. If it ever came up for sale, I would jump at the chance to own it.

Thanks for replying! I've actually never seen a complete in box copy before so thanks for the info. I think that if you found out how much I paid for it you'd cry :D (it was a pretty good price).

I can't even stop thinking about how awesome your copy of Super Marathon is. I don't usually get too excited about sealed games, but wow this is awesome! Frankly, I don't even want to know what you paid for it. I just want to know how much you want me to pay you for the honor of having it in my own collection one day. Anyway, no rush, I'll be here if you ever decide to sell it.

When I eventually complete my collection, I'd consider potentially selling it. I've still got 6 or so games to go (not including Japanese ones, I'm just assuming that I'll never find those) and I'm already close to getting 3 of the remaining 6 I need, possibly even more. It all depends on what Seropian can find in his storage chest at the end of November...

Thanks for the input Kev. By the way, I'm hoping to make a donation sometime in November.
