    Hello :D

I'm here as a member of the "eidolon's inn tavern rpg" dev-team :D
For those who don't know, Eidolon's Inn was one of the biggest research/resource website about sega and some peoples there decided to make a rpg game with the community members.

The project started in 2004, originally planned for megacd*.
Now, in 2007, with an almost finished toolsuite (map editor, script editor, monster editor, magic editor, item editor...), and almost finished engine, we can see the "exit of the hole" ^^

However, we really need some additional good sprites artists (to make characters, enemies/monsters) to attempt to finish the game.

We are also searching for talented inputs around cutscenes, backgrounds, and map design..

To those interested, skilled and very motivated, don't hesitate to contact me for more informations (héhé, i don't want to spoil anything on a public place).
    MANY MANY thx!

    One non-spoiling screenshot :p

*When I say "originaly planned for megacd", its because I made a cartridge version of the engine... In case we would see a real release (and i don't doubt it will be done, "i already bought the plastic cases", lol ;) ) :D

This looks pretty cool. Are all graphics going to be original? Somethinga bout all those shots remind me of the graphics in that chinese pirate rpg Barver Battle, but I'm sure it's not ripped from it..right? :p

Thank you for your comments :)

Ho yeah, everything is original and made from scratch, music too (without any existing rpg in mind/reference, I want to precise that :D )...
I allocated an huge amount (percentage) of display-power to the backgrounds compared to many 16bit rpg, it should be possible to make unique things :).

    Thank you again :D

Graphics are much better, the first one looked more like a Master System game. Pity it's an RPG though, a nice Shooter would have been much better. ;)

At the bottom of the page, screen shots used a RPGmaker set (for testing purpose)... So, yeah, maybe some RPGmaker fans ripped the gfx.
But all the current work is 100% original.

    Thx for the comments :D

Looks to be pretty nice so far. Any chance of a demo preview release sometime in the future?

Yeah would like to know about a demo as well, doesn't have to be big, just a tutorial and a few battles.

    Hi :)
    Thx for your interest :)

There will be an interview published on sega-16.com soon... And inside some answers about a playable demo. Because, yes, there will be a playable demo at some point.

    Awesome

Wow that looks great. It's exciting to anticipate a new mega drive game. Will you release a cartridge version for collectors?

Looks awesome now, wow. Can't wait for the demo. Any chance you could knock a couple of demo carts up?

You mean, demonstration cartridges? Haha, that would be interesting, yeah... You wouldn't be able to save, probably :D

Héhé, you'll have to wait for the interview :) I heard it would be published on the 18th September on Sega-16 :)

    Thank you for the comments.

18th September? that's only just over a week away! I'm going to buy this one. Please don't get some no telent person to make the cover art like what happened to The Begger Prince. man, that looked ugly.
