Hello, i got few month ago a Nintendo New 3DS XL console with problem, from ebay. I was surprised to discover it was a kiosk. I thought of a fault when I saw the model serial. few weeks ago, I had the opportunity to handle a large number of kiosk console (EUR). I had the confirmation that the kiosks have the same serial that retails! there is no visual difference !! HD PICTURES << maybe you can just turn the console into demo mode? Nintendo given me no info about it ...
I'm not sure if I understand. From what I know there isn't a "console demo mode". The demos available at stores are the NFR carts. Am I wrong?
This console turn on only if You put charger on it ! (And turn off when you remove it) << that's demo mode
yeah i had spoken to someone who had a bunch of kiosk o3DS XL's i was hoping to snag one and have a look if the difference was in software or hardware but they seemed to want to keep hold of them all im assuming they probably dont have any charging function hooked up inside, but iirc they have batteries in them so its kinda weird
Units here are just retail systems with parental controls on them. Home button appears to be disabled. Probably not connected at all.
