So I bought a faulty 3DS XL for a very good price. It has a damaged screen. Is it possible to fix this or should I buy a new screen ? Maybe reseating the ribbon cables will help ?
    Help would be greatly appreciated.

Not available in my country and I'm not willing to pay 3 times the amount of a screen. I guess that I will have to fix it myself.

Any ideas what causes this problem? I've seen it on a lot of portable consoles.

The assembly is damaged, cracked like MOPS mentioned.

    You'll need a replacement LCD.
