This year seems to keep reminding me how short life is, so I decided to live it up a little and actually use something from my collection. I've been hoarding a brand new official translucent blue Dreamcast top, and I've finally decided to install it on a Dreamcast I furnished with a GDEMU and PicoPSU. I want to share my excitement with everyone. :)

    Thank you. :)

Thank you. :) There's a running thread in the Dreamcast Development forum on how to stick a PicoPSU in the dreamcast, check it out. I know it is possible for Saturn also, but I have not done it myself.

    Nice.
PS, what's the point of the psu? I mean if you have a working, original, psu, why would you want to switch it out?

The GDEMU doesn't use the 12v line, so it causes the original PSU to be inefficient and heat up. I consider it prevenitive maintenace. I can't feel any hot air radiating from the dreamcast after switching to the pico. :)

    Thank you.
I've thought about making some to sell, but then I consider the chance of people possibly killing their dreamcasts by not installing it correctly. I feel like by providing a product, I should offer help/support and unfortunately I just don't have the time. It's a really easy mod, and most people should be able to do it. :)

That's cool but I've never heard of the PicoPSU until now, what are the benefits of it?

I've been using a Pico PSU in my Saturn for almost a year. Works great.

Beautiful Dreamcast... Might be the best looking one yet.

    Hello

I just looked at your work on Dreamcast and it is really magnificent!
How much did he cost exactly in component and material?
I possess a GDemu and it seems to me the best thing to do in the future.
I would like your help (if it is possible) to know command the same rooms to realize this work on my Dreamcast, but I am a novice in electronics I shall be delighted to discuss it in MP with you.

PS =) I'm not good in English sorry.
