Most disgusting things you have found in a console/accessories ?

After seeing some youtube videos of consoles being full of dead insects, I thought I would make this thread.
My weirdest find was in a PS1 controller. When I first got my PS1, I thought that I may aswell take it apart so see what's inside. The console was normal, but not the controller. Inside of the controller were 2 small green worms. I was still a kid at that point and it freaked me out so much seeing those worms. I immediately closed the controller and never took it apart again. I still have it to this day and It's my main Dualshock 1 controller.
The weird thing is that from outside the controller looks almost in mint condition. I'm still never going to take it apart again.

I hate when I find fucking cockroaches alive inside consoles.

 

I buy all my consoles from Japan, the worst thing I've seen so far is a cat hair.

 

I've only found spider webs when cleaning consoles, nothing else and hope it stays like that.

 

I found dead roaches in a third party Dreamcast controller that I got through eBay... took my loss and threw it out.

I do buy a lot from Japan; like sanni, I do commonly find cat hair ... and human hair on occasion.

I've made it a practice to put on nitrile gloves and use 409 (all purpose cleaner) to clean and disinfect anything that I buy used.

 

I've seen rocks in a Saturn for some reason, dust clumps in a Dreamcast but the weirdest one was my Genesis Model 1. It was so gross and it still is dirty. there was weird hair stuff in the cartridge slot and supposed dead bugs on the bottom of the case and partially on the board. It was disgusting.

 

Box of old unused condoms from 1993 found inside an old atari computer I bought last year. Someone must have been trying to get their game on while playing some games...

Honestly I've never found anything worse than dust. Though I don't open my systems as often.

 

Definitely the Sega Genesis systems I tried to fix last year, rockroaches and RUST.
I found a Sega Saturn RAM cart that was horribly corroded and had plenty of dead cockroaches.

The Super Famicom I bought from Japan was close, but it was just a little rust and dirt in comparison.

 

The other year I bought a wholesale lot of 55 boxed Sega Mega Drive games from Japan, behind one of the instruction manuals was a Japanese school girl porn dvd :/

Another time I bougt an old Metal Gear Solid 1 edition Playstation magazine, the picture showed a brand new crisp looking magazine, what I got was wrinkled, bent and smelled of sweat and tobacco, into the garbage it went then I had to scrub my hands :s

 

What would you do if someone gave you a copy of Stadium Events for free, only under the circumstance that it has an unmaskable smell that's so awful that you couldn't get within 5 ft of it without gagging?

 

I would clean it.

 

Are those VGA cases airtight? If so, they might actually be useful that time.

 

When i was disassembling my SNES i found what i could have sworn was pubic hair, and from what i've seen online i'm not the only one....

 

The remains of a colony of cockroaches in an old PC. An inch thick of eggs and legs and poop and dead roaches.

 

Something sorta similar like that happened to a Sega CD game I had. Saw some weird reflection near the center part where the discs are kept. Took the holder off and there was a weird CD. Put it in the PC and I saw some weird balloon fetish stuff. It was weird... It was Sonic CD iirc.

 

That's disgusting to find roaches, yuck.

Honestly, worst I've found is just LOTS and LOTS of dust in a PS3 one time... like lots of thick nasty dust from a place that most likely had lots of cigarette smoke (it was really dirty). And another console I found what looked like old dried up and crusty pop (soda) of some kind.
