MoonTar's Xbox Console Collection....so far

Thanks all! I'm not much into collecting 360s unless I like the subject and who doesn't like chocolate? Haha. The 10 Year Anniversary was on my top 5 list of consoles I wanted to own eventually and I was very lucky to get one (had to buy it though). It looks awesome and is an important piece of Xbox history in my opinion. =)

And I have HALF of a debug kit. I don't have the top half or the bezel. lol

 

Any more information on this controller? I have 2 of these that have the B2 like yours but also has 1.95 in the lower right of the sticker.

 

From what I know or think I know "B2" just stands for "Beta 2" and they are pretty much a retail controller without FCC approval.

I have one with the "1.95" on it also. No clue what it means though.

 

hi guys just joined here and have recently started collecting a few xboxes myself, my daughter is a total reto head and im hoping one day if my collection is good enough to hand down to her..

love the pics of the different xboxes, have just bought myself a brand new still in the box kasumi chan ( dead or alive ) console

 

Very nice! Everyone seems to have the Kasumi console but me. I need to get one. =(

as far as i can find out about 35 consoles in existence, i was told recently by somone who worked for uci cinemas that any that were left over were given to staff members or thrown away... omg...!!!

Yeah, I missed out on one of those that sold really cheap because the seller didn't want to ship internationally. So frustrating when sellers do that. =(

no not my picture but the person i bought it from, this was on ebay a while back but never sold so i decided to try and contact the seller direct. this console was given to her mum for free and its been used 4 or 5 times max, still in its original box

 

Thrown away sometimes means something else in the business world. Like for my company "throwing away" is when we have excess inventory and it is given to family members, donating it, or selling it in with a bunch of other stuff in bulk to a 3rd party.

 

Probably what happened with my DOAO console because the owner got it for free from Microsoft.


Also, this seems as good a time as any to make an update. =)

Added a sealed green and sealed blue controller so now I have a nice family of 5 now. All but the Duke are in good condition.


An Xbox Live Beta 2 bag. Bag is just big enough to hold an s-type controller but not a Duke.


And a sealed Bass Champion controller. Very faded and has cracks but it was cheap so it will do for now. lol

Yup, most is from the USA and most is off Ebay, but a few items are from private sales.

 

At my Uni they call it "surplus". Most of the time if it's something potentially sensitive, such as used HDDs, flash drives, etc, it's probably destroyed but other stuff is often auctioned off in large batches. Want some chairs or desks? There's an auction for that. Abandoned bikes? Auction. Extra monitors? Auction.

I am sure i saw that game commander thing on ebay & didnt think anything of it?? Have been searching for a fishing controller for ages,good find. A fun use for the fishing controller in case nobody knows is you can use it to play soul caliber on the xbox,lol

 

So I had to retake some of these pictures so they wouldn't look so terrible after Borman took his. Haha. Even if they are still not that good, they were on a dusty desk before.
