Seriously wtf does this have to do with anything? The point is she did go to the U.S. because at the time that was only thing she was aware of to do, and after she went to all that trouble the guy totally screwed her over by saying "it blew up" and now he's selling it here as mint. That is the topic at hand, not you pushing your products off on people. It's fitting you handle is "Bad_Ad".

This is sad because bloodsack came on our forum a few weeks ago and made a thread where he completely BLEW UP at someone who was going to sell him a Dreamcast but sold it someone else, complete hypocrite, the worst kind.

 

he specifically wanted an NTSC ps2 or no deal.. so an NTSC ps2 is what i got him.

i'm not happy with the guy but wouldn't wish that on him.

i think i would just be happy with an apology from bloodsack at this stage but i doubt that will ever happen.

i just hope he doesn't do this to anyone else..it's been a really awful experience for me..

not only the running round i had to do to get his console but also being lied to and made to feel like a worthless idiot.

true. not my place to judge possible lack of understanding about the console's capabilities. nor is it relevant to the topic at its current stage, as much as it might've prevented this to begin with.

That's true. Actually going to the states for the sole and only purpose of picking this up, would be flat idiocy. It'd be cheaper to have a middle-man mail it ultra express security fully insured to ensure safe delivery.

at the time he was wanting an NTSC chipped ps2 really bad!
he could not find any in the UK ..only in the US.
So since i was going there i picked it up.
it doesn't change the fact though that i did go to another country and pick a console up for him!

Not sure why the discussion. The user AGREED to exchange the consoles, but then he said "It blowed up". And then he sells the same console here on Assembler without telling the previous interested guy(gal?) "Sorry but I've changed my mind".

Either he wants to sell a beaten up turbo duo and scam someone here or he didn't have the balls to tell the other person that the deal was off.

I think the bigger picture has been missed. IF the Turbo was cooked then its not in mint condition as stated which could leave an innocent holding the bag. IF its just a matter of pre-sellers remorse so be it. Short of living in a dictatorship until the deal is final by means of a goods exchange then its everybodies right to change their mind. But if a decision was made to withdraw from a deal this should be made known to prevent any un-needed costs being incurred and to at least help lessen bad blood etc. Both parties are "forum friends" of mine so to speak so Im not going to pass judgement on anybody, or say so-and-so is a douche because that would be presumptuious on my part. But I do believe a legitimate air-clearing is in order. Bloodsack its your call, but you know where to find me outside of the above mentioned site or here, if you feel the need to let your side be known feel free to contact me. In the meantime though I do think it a reasonable assumption on my part based on what I do know of the situation that people exercise caution in the purchase/trade of the Turbo-Duo.

To others from TIZ no need to flame or threaten it just makes you come off wrong and lessens any credibility any here would have granted you.

Sad to say this jerk off will most likely be back on all the same forums with a different name pulling the same bs. But i am a believer in Karma and it will get this guy one way or another might not be apparent at the time but it will.

I feel sorry for the money and time you wasted on this guy, sad to say this happens from time to time, i myself got ripped off bad a few years ago when i traded a slim psp with the works for a xbox 360 low and behold when i received it it was RROD and the guy actually took the time to glue the dvd drive front cover (the little silver peice that says xbox 360) all special like to make it look like it haddent been tampered with but when i opened it up there wasn't even a dvd drive in it just a small brick duck taped down to make the weight of the console feel right.:disgust:

Personally I would have asked for the broken one from him, but I like to fix stuff . Regarldess I wasn't going to comment on this until I saw your post CandieC, while I feel your pain with that 360 scam, you've to to admit that's some hilarious criminal ingenuity there, a brick of all things. Obviously I would be pissed of beyond belief but just wow, evil creativity.
