Mint NTSC Turboduo with 22 games

I have a Near Mint Turboduo with 22 games Only used 2 twice.

I just want to know what the Turboduo's worth. I've seen them on ebay go for insane prices.

id say it was worth a slim line ps2 NTSC chipped with a brand new laser installed.....

 

Well yeah i'd agree ps2 is more appeal than turboduo. i already have a chipped fat. ^_^

 

i went all the way to America and picked up a chipped ps2 for this guy on a promise that i would get the turbo duo..get it home and it needed a new lens so shipped it back to the states to have a brand new lens installed!

it's cost me a small fortune to do all this. and i did all this for him!

then he tells me the duo blew up when his friend plugged it in ..while i am waiting on the return of the ps2, next thing i see he's trying to sell it here!

he owes me the money he's made me spent getting his ps2 not to mention the time and effort i put into bringing it back from another frikkin country!

 

Bloodsack, you are SICK. You scam someone saying it was "broken" once the person already gave you the stuff then you go off and try to sell the item to someone else?

Hi, you guys probably dont know me, but i guess its possible you might. if you do know me you will know im not the type of person who would back up claims unless something is up.

I have joined here to tell you people about these people.

The 1st person bloodsack is a hypocrit at best. he is not a young person so he really should know better but he has in the space of a week or 2 shown a side of him self that people would have preferd not to know existed.
however 1/2 of that is irrelivant to the matter at hand so i will just skip it and simply call him a hypocrit.


the issue here is that he had aranged to trade this console with a member, This trade had been agreed on and the member went to the USA to collect the item to tade for it, the item the member collected had a fault so at expense the item was sent back to the states to get fixed, and then sent back.

Apparantly during this time bloodsack decided they no longer wanted to do this trade. and instead of saying..
"im sorry but i dont want to do this trade for you here is some money to cover all the expenses you went through"
he said
"the console blew up."
when questioned about it, he said.
"'i cant f*cking believe you think im lying.f*ck this sh*t,don't call or txt me ever again''"

Now all of a sudden bloodsack is over here selling the afore mentioned item. Where as this may not be what some people consider "a scamm" or "ripping some one off" the fact remains the member has spent a lot of money to get the items blood sack requested. blood sack then lied about the matter. and is now selling the console.

if you need proof of any of this you would need to come see some of the threads regarding the issue where all this kicked off.
bloodsack had plenty of time to defend his actions. or contradict what was being said. but he chose to just come sell the console here.
also if he did not believe there was any wrong doing, why would he search for a new forum to sell his item, instead of just listing it on a forum he has been a member on for much longer??

personally i would avoid trading with him if i were you.
but this is your choice.


the 2nd member is a nice perosn and has never done anything untoward, or bad.they were befriended by blood sack and thought they were friends. this membed did not deserve any of this hassle, and seems like people chose to target them for whatever reason.
I cant say anything but good things about them so there is no point in typing any more about that member.

You do know shipping to and from American is a hell of a lot more money than it would cost for someone in the UK to repair it for you.

Just sayin'

 

i only found one place for ps2 repairs and lens replacements and they were miles away and minimum charge was £50.

maybe you know places but i couldn't find any.
Just like i couldn't find a chipped slim modbo 4 ps2 in the UK either :/

 

atleast 1 person here would know me then "well sort of".
Any way like i said just chiming in to try and give a background on whats going on here.

i didn't know about this forum before i got screwed.

 

Turning out nicely it still wouldn't have been a "fair" deal. turboduo in this condition is far greater dollar value than a mere chipped ps2.

Besides once chipped there's little difference between NTSC and PAL ps2. The chip defeats any region lock. And all ps2s support NTSC or PAL video mode whenever a game requires.

 

if the person who owns the duo agreed to the deal then it's a fair deal.

can you put a price on someone going to get you a console you ordered from another country??
my ticket to the states was £600.
