Got my MegaED, and tried to paly all of the 32x known games.
They all come from the GoodSet.

NBA JAM TE 32x goes into a black screen and locks there.
NFL instead presents me with a screen with vertical blue bars but locks there.

    Is this a known issue?
They seem to work just fine in Kega.

    I have a genesis 2 (VA 1.8) + 32x + sega Cd 2.
Already tried disconnecting the segaCD to no avail.

    MegaED firmware v4, os v3.

All other 32x games work fine.

I tried to recopy them on the SD (in case windows messed them up), same problem.
I then tried to play them with Kega Fusion 3.64 directly from the SD card and they work perfectly.

Maybe there's some incompatibility with MegaED or maybe they are in a slightly different format, don't know.
I tried to do an hexdump with sfk of the first 512 bytes just to check if they were byteswapped, but they look pretty normal to me.

blue bars = EEPROM test error, works on emulators emulating EEPROM saves

Did you try a rom that has the [h] in the file name? Those were hacked in the past for use on copiers, and circumvent the game from looking for EEPROM.

Sorry to revive such old thread, but does anybody have a SRAM hacked saving version of NBA Jam 32x? I know there are some games fixed to run by excluding EEPROM or SRAM saving, but I would really appreciate to beat the game using the save feature. Tried all rom versions floating around, tried googling it but I had no success. I think there is a hacked rom of this game for the genesis to use SRAM, would it be very hard to make the same for the 32x version?
