Just seen this as I'm wanting to purchase one complete in a cart shell. http://shop.retrogate.com/Mega-EverDrive-MEGA-ED.htm However, it states here: "Flash cartridge comes with the PCB only. You will need to supply an empty case, as well as the SD/MMC card you wish to use. The only modifications required to fit this in a case are drilling a hole and trimming away space for the SD card and USB2" Sounds like a proper daft question but it allows the plastic shell and SD card on the order page to be selected and added, so does that mean it is complete and ready to plug and play in the console without any user modification? Just that the above infomation contradicts itself. Thanks!
It's probably just copied and pasted from times when KRIKzz didn't offer cart shells and just hasn't updated/removed it but, when I ordered my Mega ED a few months ago I used the cart shell option and I got one with my PCB. It's fairly safe to say that if you use the option for a cart shell, you'll get one.
