As I understand it, the main differences between the Mega ED and the ED MD are: - quick save/load feature simular to what an emulator does (Mega ED) - games are loaded into RAM (Mega ED) instead of a flash chip (ED MD) Couple of questions: - what is the lifespan of the ED MD flash chip? - Does the ED MD support battery saves (so I don't have to play Phantasy Star 4 in one sitting)?
Okay, so I bought an ED MD. I'm very pleased with it. The drawback of waiting for a game to write to the flash is not very irritating. I like my EDMD V3!
