I have owned this for years now without really knowing what it was (and never really searched for infos about it):

Today, I was lurking around on the internet to find more informations about rare megadrive/mega-cd stuff and found a mention of a very rare mega-cd good called Keiou Yuugekitai Taikenban in a post on assemblergame by Juste.
It made me think about this game that has been lying in my shelves for years so I decided to create this topic to find out about it:
Is my sample game actually that uber rare game ? all I can say is that my copy is the only one I have ever seen. If not, what is the game I posted a picture of and furthermore, has anyone got more information about that Keiou Taikenban ?

I'm not sure how rare it is, but it should fetch a pretty penny at an auction because the normal Keio Flying Squadron discs are already very expensive. Probably because it's one of the few Sega CD games that didn't suck.

That demo also has a few in-game assets that were changed during development, by the way. I only remember that the bullet decals were different though, I'd have to play it to recall more. Yakumo would already call it a beta disc because of that.

Also note that if you only played the english release of Keio Flying Squadron, that in itself has a lot of difference compared to the japanese release, so you'd better compare that taikenban to the japanese final if you do. Things like being killed by touching a wall or enemies flashing when hit, those were in the japanese final game and were removed in the english releases.
