p.s I was unable to open the RAS File

 

You have to download the windows Vista/7 sound patch, the .rar contains the RASMaker.exe, paste in the game folder, and open cmd, and then go to the game folder location and type Rasmaker.exe.

 

I tried it didn't work for me

 

Try this instead
CD Steam\steamapps\common\Max^ Payne\RASMAKER.EXE

 

Curse you RASMaker.exe

 

Open the folder in explorer and select file>open new command prompt.

 

Didn't work again. If you want you can do a video about it. :/

Then type RASMaker.exe into the prompt and press enter.

 

Got it working.

 

Damn could not open file.

 

So I figured out how to open .Ras file
1. Find your root folder of Max Payne(where you have the game installed)
2. Top left corner and open up the Command Prompt
3. where the game is Example: D:\Steam\steamapps\common\Max Payne>RASMaker.exe
4. After >RASMaker.exe -x x_data.ras C:\temp
Then the file will be extracted to C:\temp
