Ahh where get the dump of this disc...

 

What game is that? Is it Might & Magic 3 heroes or something?

 

Yeah, last I figured out was that it's in the hands of Pavel a Russian DC uploader - he had Test Drive Cycles as well and maybe something else.
Originally purchased from a user here (can't remember who...) who claims he never kept a backup of the disc.

From comments made by the original owner here (also years ago) the game took an eternity to load... which may explain why it was never released.

I pm'd Pavel on another forum and he said he'd release them 'eventually' but this was years (and years) ago so I guess that never happened.

I'm afraid the last few known GDR's that were around here a few years back are probably lost for good now. Our only hope is finding other copies that were made, probably from the dev crew or game reviewers. I wouldn't hold out on Pavel releasing them, my guess is he's moved on to other things.

 

Will you release the emulator or only videos?

Nice! Is there any footage of the gameplay anywhere?

 

Back in the day fellow member @LeGIt actually acquired this game before it got sold and ended up in the hands of Fatalist and later Pavel and/or visa versa. I remember that he described this particular Heroes III GD-R to be quite scratched, so this might be part of the reason a digital copy never surfaced. If I recall correctly this disc changed owners for a mere 200 pounds back in the day :O

 

Did you get around to making this video? I am super excited for this for some reason. Might be because the Streets of Rage music grated on my ears so bad from the Smash Pack.

No not yet sadly. Still trying to convince the owner to send me his system disc and copy of the game by post. He lives a good 3 hour drive away and I can't afford to spend a day and the fuel travelling that distance again just to capture the footage. I'll keep pestering him to send them by courier or something!

 

Tomleecee do you have any BBA or sdcard adapter so you can backup the game?

 

I have an SD reader but until I can get the disc there's not much I can do sadly.
