Light gun on LCD TV

    Wow, someone resurrected this thread.

    Unfortunately, I dont' that gonna work, because it relies on the entire TV hardware to work, either you have a CRT or buy an motion based pistol, but the latter is expensive and more rare, but the former is too big.

    You need to read up on how light guns work. There is no "laser". Duck hunt for example, you can point a flash light down the barrel of the gun and never miss. A photoelectric diode is checking to see if it sees "light". This is why the entire screen is blacked out (except the target)
