Hi Platinum! Yes I live in Korea and yes I have one of those SFC adaptors. They are not too hard to find. They are a perfect example of a Korean "gray market" item ^^

Hi there, it has dried up on eBay because it has dried up in Korea.

I have been collecting in Korea for a little over 2 years and I've found that what was scarce at the beginning of that time has become damn near impossible and expensive as hell today. Although the retro craze hit Korea a bit later than the US, it hit in full force. And with a small population, rampant self-importation of Japanese goods (and therefore fewer official Korean products proportionally), and a growing number of interested nostalgic parties, this stuff has simply disappeared.

So basically going rates in Korea have far exceeded the price people outside of Korea are interested in paying. They seem to be operating under 2008-era notions that this stuff is plentiful and cheap in Korea. It isn't!!

I've known for a while that korean consoles are hard to find even in korea, I wasn't sure how hard though.
How expensive is expensive as hell?

I saw a Samsung Gam*Boy (Master System model 1) with some loose carts sell for ~$500. That was a year ago.

Boxed Samsung Super Aladdin Boy (Mega Drive) stuff is $50-75 if you can grab it before someone else does. One guy is trying to sell his copy of "The Kick Boxing" for close to 200. That game is the worst game ever. (He won't get what he's asking but the fact that he's trying is indicative)

Ouch, yeah that is quite a bit more than I'd pay:(
    Still, fingers crossed!
