Something I've noticed, a few posts seem to disappear randomly nowadays.

Ripper006 made a post in this thread that did not show up for hours, then it showed up for long enough to be quoted, and now it doesn't show up again.

That's where I noticed it. But, it happens elsewhere too:

The topic opener is not visible, which makes the rest of the topic interesting to read.

It's because as a low post user, they are still in the trial period.

If they post a URL, it makes all the other posts moderation required. This is an anti-spam device.

Summary: If you post links in your first 15 posts, it places them in moderation que to fight linkspam.

Hm, doesn't really explain why the post appeared at one point and then disappeared later.

I suppose it could've been because the posts were edited.

The plugin hasn't really done much as we get so little spam, I will consider removing it as a test.

I have changed the settings to a more reasonable level. New users will still be moderated for first post url content.

What I've found said the problem is either another mod/ admin deleting posts or the site has been hacked. Possibly a server glitch or some sort of error in the web pipeline?

Don't know of anything else. I've noticed this too.

Glitch in the automoderation, cleared cache. Should do it.
