Wishful thinking. Only 3 cards + EEPROMs could go for $200+. One of which is current gen (CTR). Given that not many of those TWL debuggers were manufactured and not many of the licensed developers were actually developing DSi software you can rest assured those are pretty exclusive. This devkit can easily do NITRO as well. As of software, I've just spent literally 30 seconds to find it on the internet. Anyway I don't think anybody will actually use those kits for primary purpose. Mainly this is collectible.
Exactly. To someone who wants to actually do dev, they would be best off getting a 3ds kit. So the question is who the buyer of this is. You see the same thing with older nintendo gc dev hardware. The market is dead.
Is GC hardware market actually dead? I have a Beta NPDP-GDEV in my basement somewhere that I was going to time capsule until I could make a decent profit. -doulomb
It's important to keep in mind that many buyers are collectors rather than developers. (such as your self if I understand correctly) So rarity of the item definitely has to be taken into account.
