So I need to get a good gift for my grandfather who is in his mid 70s. He has no clue on modern technology or even what to do with it. He was lucky enough to learn how to use his Amiga A500 back in the '80s. So I thought I'd get him a flashback system to enjoy his favorite games in bed for Christmas. Here's the homepage for these little miracle boxes: http://www.mcc-home.com/ I want to know more about it from someone who has one if possible. Are they any good? Is the menu easy enough to navigate for my simple minded grandfather? It will just be used for playing some games that ran from 3.5" floppy on an Amiga A500. nothing more. No Atari or C64 or even any sort of productive programs. Purely Amiga A500 gaming. Any thoughts?
Definitely not a simple device to use. You can read through this users experiences: http://www.armchairarcade.com/neo/node/3436?page=5
^ Makes me glad my grandma talked me out of getting it then. Gramps would just throw a fit followed by the little box. LOL
