Is this a decent CRT?

    That Toshiba you have or had with Component probably isn't bad. With the Component input you could get an adapter to use RGB SCART cables to get the best picture signal out of many older systems. While it might not be the best CRT ever, it's still probably a step above your average CRT TV you might find for free or dirt cheap which often don't have Component input.

    Good to know, I'll probably end up keeping it. I'd rather not have it recycled.

    Actually the model number says KD-34XS955N on the back. While I'd love to have the cream of the crop.. I think this model is only slightly lower, dude was saying this one lacking Picture in picture was the main difference between the two when he was buying. I'm not too sure how true that is, either way, this TV still kicks ass.

    Same tube, just a cheaper model with less connections. Best TV for retro gaming (even PS3/X360).
    Sony XBR are the best CRTs, I used to own a few, now I only kept a KV-36XBR450.
