    Greetings.

As you all may know, one of the most "Finished" and "Completed" betas that ever existed is the RE 1.5, but sadly, none knows about its current state.

Now, is there any games that also fell into the same league as RE 1.5? Thanks, by the way.

Sonic crackers was far from finished, I played the ROM, buggy as hell. It turned into knuckles chaotix. Toejam and Earl I seem to remember got fairly far..

Great game and the leaked build is the full game that was supposed to go gold.

It depends on how picky you want to be. Seriously, what was incomplete about it besides the debug info/menu options and fps counter? If memory serves me correct that and the English translation was the only thing they patched, and now you'd be hard pressed to tell it from a released game. I could be forgetting something, it did happen a few years ago.

All signs point to 1.5 never being completed. Half-Life was to reportedly either be fixed or rebuilt and not released as it was, or cancelled like it was. TJ&E3 wasn't done.

The game is missing a huge mechanic:
""There are a few ROMs on the net in various conditions. But the ones I checked out are all old and they don't have the randomizing Rogue-like stuff working or all the encounters in place, so you don't really get the feel of the game we were making." - Dylan Cuthbert

Also space transformations are broken. The translated ROM outright locked them out. Odd really, since that did work properly in the older beta it was based on--the one with multiplayer.

Wow, it's pretty cool that they actually had done a lot more to that game, considering how well it plays already.

As for what does and doesn't count for this thread isn't exactly clear, he did say "most completed"... But if there is a decent list of legitimately complete yet unreleased games I'd be curious as well.

"Jelly Boy 2" for Super Famicom was 100% complete but unreleased, which is a shame.

Tomb Raider, about a year before the game released. It has been found that a version thought to be a "prototype" to the original was actually a completely different draft to the game. It was refused by Sony/Sega and thus had another year of development. There is footage of this version though. I believe it was about 80% complete.

It's not exactly a prototype or beta, but there are a few finished copies of the unreleased NBA Elite 11 out there.
