I agree, I hate how steam is killing the physical release. Still, it's necessary if I want to play some of the new games. Hell, I've heard the physical copy of GTA V just takes you to steam to download it anyways.

Honestly, I can't even be bothered to get Mighty No 9 from file share sites. I'd rather just pop in Megaman 2 or something.

I'm glad I didn't give my real name for the 4 hour backer credits, I also gave a name that only 2 or 3 people would know is me.

Yeah Physical media is why I don't game on PC, but there's a service in the US called Indie Box that ships physical copies of indie games on USB cartredges, the catch is they all come with Steam keys to activate them.

Yeah, I've heard about indie box but the steam key is still a bummer.

Funny you should say that when GTA5 is one of the few steam games that actually does contain all content on disc, comes with 5 or so discs iirc.
You still need steam to run it but no need to download the base game.

EDIT: Oh and for the record I think the game is OK, Granted I didn't pay anything for it and have a pre-release copy sooo...

Ahh, I thought I heard you had to download it, which made sense to me given the 70GB size or whatever it is. At least the content is on the disc(s), but that just makes it an extra slap in the balls that you still need Steam to use it.

Well steam is the DRM it uses so yea of course you need it, And yes you could also just download it if you wanted to once its added to your steam account but meh.

This guy didn't need to be paid off for a good review. He gave it a 7.5

I swear people are reviewing the controversy and not the game. I should be getting it either today or Monday

So I've put a few hours in The game is a bit on the easy side but there are still a few cheap deaths. The boss fights are fun and a little difficult. I figure if this was a Mega Man game it'd be a new subseries like say Mega Man Xel or something. It's fun but it just feels a bit easy so far.

My opinion is that the game looks and feels bland, nothing like the conceptual art suggested. And even though it runs on U3, there's tons of performance issues. Also, they have yet to release the 3DS, Vita, Xbox 360, MAC and Linux ports.

There's hype, obviously, but it's because they got 4 million dollars to make this. And even before releasing it, they started a kickstarter for another game. That, and the constant delays, didn't helped either.

I'm close to the end of the game and I'm really enjoying it. Countershades stage was a pain in the ass but unlike any stage from a Mega Man game. The Call stage is unique. I like it and say fuck the haters, this is a good game.

BUT there are things I don't like
-Frame dips while few are very noticeable.
    - The difficulty is unbalanced, some stages and boss fights are easy while others are a pain in the ass.
    - The Ray DLC feels tacked on
    - I'd like to play as the other Mighty Numbers, they're all likeable.
    - The PS3 version IS unplayably bad. But the PS4 version is awesome.
    - I would have liked to see something beyond the 8 bosses and 3-4 final stages. maybe 10 initial bosses or something. Go beyond the Mega Man formula.

^ THIS. This is what it's missing. If they could have done something like that, I'd be playing it over and over like the rest of them.

If this game gets a sequel, They should just do everything they did with Mega Man Power'd up.

Should have just stuck with 1-3 platforms max I don't understand why they chose so many.

They should've canceled it on last gen systems. They should have gone with something other than Unreal Engine 3 maybe Unity would've made for a better game. They stretched themselves too thin with all the platforms they promised.

It didn't get hard for me until the Factory level and some of the challenge levels are hard.
