No, not really. If you need 1gb of RAM, slim kits seem to be cheaper. They are cool collectors pieces though

They are only valued higher because they are rarer, and in my opinion look much cooler than a slim, but are in no way more reliable than a standard jasper XDK. You're paying for the look.

So all i have to do is get an XNA case and replace the case on a normal Jasper and BOOM. XNA (without 1GB RAM)

You are not gonna find a spare XNA case in the wild lol.

Strange, I had a 1GB Jasper than wasn't an XNA - is that unusual?

Perhaps it was with a shell swap? Prototype Jaspers I've had in the past have had 1gb though. They were stress consoles and I sold them as xna prototypes given the 1gb. The standard is slim trinity and corona final along with Xna falcon and Jasper are 1gb ram. The phat and E console Xdk do not.

You probably have a prototype XNA, there were a lot of them thrown out in china.

It's been a while, but it had a green ROL and I'm pretty sure all the numbers matched. It also didn't look like it had ever been opened. It's possible it was refurbished, but if so it had been done very carefully
