It sounds very interesting. Like I said, I'd quite like to give it a go... but it won't be my own copy for some time. I did always like the whole go back and have a look for secrets element, yes. Of course, nowadays there's the danger that might feel a bit linear.

Lol, bad wording. What I meant was I'm only excited about an upcoming title in a franchise IF it's a franchise I love. And, for that matter, I'm talking about long-term franchises - older than COD usually.

To totally rephrase, a new title that is a new concept can generate excitement for me. Franchises don't really do that... unless it's a franchise I've loved for a long time AND hasn't become repetitive without any interesting new features.

So yes, Doom would probably be on my one to try list.

I haven't played Doom yet, but so far Quantum Break is probably mine. Really fun game and i'm a sucker for time travel.

Quantum Break is interesting. It has a TV show (that could pass as an actual prime time sci-fi TV show) that runs while you play it, and things change pending on what decisions you make in the game.

I didn't care much for the actual gameplay parts of the game truth be told, but the whole package was pretty neat.

I think that's something I love about GTA - you get those multiple-choice decisions and they affect the storyline and other elements, such as the stock market.

Quantum Break was cool because the choices you made affected the game and the tv show. I played through it multiple times to see the different episodes of the show and see the story play out differently.

I love time travel stories because you never really know what is current, or how many times someone has traveled into the past/future to try and change the course of time.

Some of the XBOTs I've gotten friendly with have over hyped Quantum Break to the high heavens. (Wrath and Iron Wolf) When I get my XBONE no doubt Quantum Break will be the 2nd game (I'm getting an XBONE pretty much for Sunset Overdrive)
