I can't remember a summer this packed with games.

The Summer is usually the dry season for games. But in the next several months we have:

Lego Star Wars Force Awakens (YES I DO want this game)
No Man's Sky
Star Ocean 5
Mighty No 9 (Supposedly)
King of Fighters XIV
Project Cars Game of the year edition
Arsetto Corsa
TMNT: Mutants in Manhatten
Mirrors Edge Catalyst

I really can't think of a summer with this many games releasing in such close proximity. I'm going to be broke...and very busy in the coming months.

That too, a new DJ Max for PS4 was just announced too.

 

Get me on that train too man. Music goodness is about to grace our PS4s.

Well My birthday is in August Family gets me gift cards....I'll spend the fall playing these.
I'm wrapping up Senran Kagura soon, I might pick up the Turtles game then GGXRD and
Mighty no 9 (if it comes out) next month.

Well, OK, that's only in Japan and if we're lucky the Western release is next summer.

 

XSEED usually does the Ys games right?

 

Yeah, they do them as well as Legend of Heroes. Usually it does take them about a year to release a new Falcom game.

 

Speaking of Trials of Cold Steel II comes to PS3 in September. I'll have NO time to play it I haven't touched the first game yet either.

 

Well, you've played Trails in the Sky FC & SC already, right? Because you have to play those first ;p

If not, I highly recommend them because Trails is my favorite JRPG franchise ever.

 

I haven't they weren't on my radar, Somebody in Poland brought Trials of Cold Steel up and I looked it up and it looked interesting.

 

Glad to see DOOM at the top of that list.

Uncharted 4, though?

 

Patiently waiting for No Mans Sky.. Comes out right after my birthday too.

 

That JUST came out most of what I listed isn't out yet. Plus it's going to beawhile before I get to Uncharted 4, I still have 2 and 3 in the Nathan Drake collection to go through.

I'm sure my list is missing a metric shit ton of 3DS games. I don't think there's anything exclsuive coming out on XBONE this summer, but I may be wrong.

 

TMNT and KoF will be my top picks.

 

I wonder what beloved 80s/90s Cartoon License Platinum will tackle next?

Transformers, Ninja Turtles. THERE IS a new Power Rangers movie coming.....

 

I really want to buy a new generation system just to play Mirror's Edge....

For a system that wasn't designed for scrolling background or a lot of on screen object, this game does pretty well.

 

No Man's Sky is really the only one of these that interests me. Assetto Corsa has been out on PC since 2014 (beta was released in 2013).
