Comparing prices of some of the everdrives they are around $200, and for the same-ish price you can also get a hyperspin loaded external hd with everything set up its around 2tb or so by mail order. your opinions?

Real hardware will always out class Pc emulation. Everdrive wins. This is coming from someone who built a dedicated arcade emulator PC that is connected to the TV along with all the consoles.

Why would you ever buy hyperspin?

Cause they show up on Craigslist, whereas you have to buy the Everdrives online, which is such a chore.

But it's not hard to find hyperspin packs if you know where to look.

Oh I know, but I've never really looked, whereas I search for "Dreamcast" on Craigslist every month or so.

You cannot download an Everdrive. But you can download Hyperspin. So I think Everdrive wins. =P
