Going to be displaying my car for the first time at my first car event. Did a full wash, and full body wax by hand. No machines, and holyshit my arms are sore however well worth it.
It's Miku! Funny story about that though. I parked at the shopping centre, got out. Elderly lady shuffles up to me, and starts screaming "SOMETHING IS STUCK TO YOUR CAR!". I just look at her like, what the fuck is she on about, but worried that there was an animal stuck or whatever. She's pointing and screaming still, and I said "are you pointing to the white thing?" "Yes"..... "I put it there mad'am". "Oh really? ahhaahauhauhaululuul" She probably thought to herself "Fucking young guys".
Haha, nice story and a really sweet ride! Always had lots of love for the Supra, great to see some car enthusiasts around here, too! Are you on minkara by chance?
nice car mate, after a recent vehicle upgrade myself I know how much better it feels once you have something you actually like to drive
Thanks man! Only a few more things to go and it can really be enjoyed. A photo during the event I went to. Really did waste time waxing the car, it got real dusty within 20 minutes of display. No photos were taken, stock cars don't get attention but people did stop to take a look at my car, peaking inside and so forth.
What is the name of that brown car in the background? Which I suppose is the only MANLY car in the event? (jk) After GM stopped manufacturing the Omega here (Opel one), they weirdly decided to import the Commodore and rebadge as Omega (There was an Omega B from Opel), althrough both share the platform, sadly no Cassowaries were included.
MANLY CAR Also your Supra doesn't have a turbo right? Is that an age restriction or an license type restriction (independent from age)?
Haha I have a ZRE152 corolla Correct my Supra is an SZ, my restriction gets lifted in 2 years but not sure if I will get a GZ or another car that's turbo. Which parts? My headunit? Nothing has really been added just replaced.
MANLY CAR TOO. Get an Soarer. Here in Brazil we never had the Hatchback Corolla, we once had the Wagon (Fielder), but now is only the sedan.
The SCs (with exception of the 430) are infinitely more affordable here in the states so that is a huge reason to buy one. I could buy five of them (even the 4.0) for what a high mileage base model MK4 Supra goes for. Are they stupid expensive in Australia too?
I don't consider the 430 as a Soarer or SC because its an roadster, not a sedan like coupe, and in Brazil they are easier to find and way more cheaper than a Supra as they are not well known. Because Soarer are MANLY and more beautiful IMO.
