I just received my Rhea in the mail. I was wondering if the same heat issues we found with the GDEMU apply to the Rhea as well? Has anyone noticed any heat increase after installing the Rhea?

Now I just need to source a VA0 Saturn so I can play with it!

Been using it solid for a week. No issues, so far.

Been playing with it for several hour long sessions without noticing it getting hot.

I played magic knight rayearth pretty much beginning to end in one sitting with zero issues. The load times were amazing actually.

The saturn doesn't have an unused 12v rail like the dreamcast with cd rom removed. The early saturn units have 9v and later units had a 9v-12v which was used for scart switching.

Yeah, the load times are notably better with Rhea. Funny though, because the loading speed is the exact same; it's only the laser seek times that disappeared.
