   Yeah, they're tools for creating graphics and sounds on an Apple Mac
   
   Seriously, though... Apple Macs were (especially then) highly regarded by artists and composers, so yeah they would often get use in these fields.
   
   Nice find.... I'm gonna have to keep my eyes open for one! Having said that, I think I have the same stuff on floppy.
