    lol a sharpie marker isn't electrically conductive so you could color a mobo to whatever you want XD

    Curious.

    Looks like Microsoft has the finned portion of that heatsink made as one piece and then has it attached to the copper block. That heatsink almost looks like single solid piece of aluminum.

    Unless it was a prototype or limited run for proof of concept I wonder why they'd bother with making an entirely different heatsink using the same design.

    Joke until you kill something.

    Plenty of delicate stuff on a xbox pcb.

    Also, static damage doesnt always mean it doesnt turn on. Might just get weird problems with it that you cant explain.

    For the 5 seconds it takes to put it on something other than the carpet, why risk it?

    I once did something RIDICULOUSLY stupid involving static and electronics.

    In my right hand was the VGA cable for my CRT. On my left was a freshly turned on TV.
