Here's a Sega software development manual watermarked with The Code Monkeys.
I have one or two of their hardware development bits and pieces too. I think one Mega Drive and one Sega CD.
More to come on that one day anyhow, in the meantime enjoy this!

I know the formatting is different (looks like a fax), but it does make me wonder if this, going up to page 22 as it does, is part of that one manual with the other partial pieces?

    Thanks for this!

You reckon this one is a fax? Can't have been! The quality is far too great for a fax...
Now this one is a fax! "INIT.ASM - Accolade's Sega Initialisation Program [1991-03-15]"
Fax and a half. Blocky text, unreadable letters - the pinnacle of fax machines! :loyal:

Thanks a ton for scanning and posting these! By the way, upload for the file in this thread is corrupted from the second link. I downloaded it twice to be sure. The file from the first link is good though.

Not a problem, glad to help out here once in a while! :encouragement:
I'll triple check the second link and nuke and reupload it if it's no good...!

Who clicks the second link anyway... :wink-new:

Edit: Nemesis on the ball as always, link 2 had a bad page 4. Updated with new link in the first post.
    Thanks Nemesis! :encouragement:

Is it possible for these files to be re-uploaded as the links are dead now.

    Cheers.

    thank you so much.
What is this "code monkeys"? hardware? software? Development Company?

I've been researching genesis development, and found some compilers asm basic etc ...
but I do not want to waste time with them if any specific hardware needed (because I will not have to achieve)
Is there any compiler that can do everything through a computer windows 32bit

    What do you use?

    Thank you all.

I've been meaning to play with SGDK a little, if anyone else has other suggestions fire away! :)
Gendev was also mentioned there in the readme if you wanted to use a UNIX-like system.
I had the most luck with Ubuntu in a virtual machine with getting anything to show... it was a terrible demo...
    I hope I still have it :D
