    It's the official stuff.

If someone has the required hardware to use the BBA screenshot tool, I'd like him to try it with the Resident Evil 4 demo with the debug menu enabled, it has a function for it, and I'd very much like to have a few "poster-sized" screenshots of that game!

Wouldn't those "Poster Sized" shots be useless though? I mean, I doubt the game would render in that resolution, given the media shots Capcom produced. I don't think the engine is even capible of doing it let alone the cube.

I'll give it a whirl though, after this annoying megaupload limit ends.

Hmm, I suppose this needs a GDEV or something, because its not connecting to my BBA with a retail cube. Can anyone give it a whirl and see? I don't think the game needs to support some screenshot mode, since the tools to take pictures are on the application itself.

There is a tool that can take screenshots called GCNRD as well, which I have used. But it doesn't have the ability to take anything besides the default resolution, which in most cases, is not in the proper aspect ratio for performance reasons.

The game needs some added piece of code to work with the screenshot utility if I can trust the readme, that's why I think RE4 is a good candidate to try.

Well, the whole Poster Sized thing would probably have to be a special function of the game, that freezes the game and essentially takes multiple screens. See the Spiderman 3 debug on the 360 I have:

Even some PS2 games had that sort of feature. Would be interesting to see how the GC pulled it off

I think it works as long as they used the standard libraries - it's been a long time since I had a GDEV setup so I don't remember.

@Dot50Cal: It's one of the disks that comes with the SDK when you get a GDEV, so I would be very surprised if it ran on a retail Cubie. All the other tools on it are for hacking about with the GDEV anyway, not sure it'll even work with a DDH.

Question. If you guys know me, you'll know that I mod / pimp every console I have. My question is this, I have a gamecube with a broadband adapter, Dvd size restriction removed (case mod) and a sd launcher and a method of loading iso's through the network, would this be able to work on my gamecube or is it only strickly for devs? If not has anyone actually tried installing on a retail gamecube? I just don't want to brick anything :fresh: Sorry for the noobish questions, I'm just in the dark about gamecube official development.

    PS: No rapidshare links?

There is nothing to "install" on a retail Gamecube. Your best bet would be to look into something like the Viper chip, among others.
