This is for the full sail education unit, right?
I wish I could get a pinout of that cable.
The mini dvd looks like what you need for the cable.

You need also a disk on the pc side, with the drivers and the ProDG add-on to use DevLink. It can be used with standard NR reader to debug game, as NR reader don't have built in debug functions.

I have a such cable, I can take some pictures of the pcb if you want.

The mini DVD (NR disc) is used to boot the unit it belongs to. It's the OS disc, so to speak. The cable belongs in the serial port at the bottom of the unit and is connected to your development PC (obviously). Despite only intended to boot the OS disc, I believe the TDEV can boot arbitrary NR discs.

Looking closer however, the manual seems to mention NR Readers. I didn't know SN also made non-TDEV ProDG stuff...

Yeah I was surprised to see that a normal dev studio had them. Works for me to put on my TDev though.

For what it's worth OP, you /might/ have luck with the GameCube ProDG version that's floating around on the internet.

I aslo have one cable like this as long as Nr devlink disk (3 of them). I only miss the OS and drivers CD. But the cable I have was plugged under my NPDP Reader. I have bought it like this. So devs where may be (I say may be) using the cable with NPDP Readers. But it involves they had Devlink on NPDP carts....but I am really not sure.
