What exactly is that in the 2nd photo?

It is real. It's a strip miner with crusher on the far right. All of it is on tracks and can move while under load.

 

These are bucket-wheel excavators. Bagger 293 is the biggest terrestrial vehicle ever built (German engineering FTW), with a height of 93 meters, a length of 225 meters and a weight exceeding 14,000 tons. The picture above was taken in Germany, when Bagger 288 was moved 22km from one strip to the next. It cost millions of Marks, and the gigantic machine would have to cross an Autobahn covered by over a meter of condensed soil to prevent it from being crushed by the weight.



It doesn't go on tracks by the way. Maybe you confuse it with another German giant, the 1942 Rail Gun "Dora":

I'll break it down. You are right about the boys one. Y isn't a vowel in this case (although it can be...) and there would make it BYS thus destroying the joke.

Apply cold water to burned area. when someone gets shot down pretty badly on the net they are said to have gotten burned. Everyone knows when you get a burn in real life putting cold water on it will help ease the pain. Same principle here. It's mainly a way to make fun of the individual who got shot down.

As for you getting old, I'm not going to even bother thinking about that. Not my place.

 

In "boy", the Y is acting as a vowel so the joke works. In English, Y is almost always a vowel... it's rare to find it in the role of a consonant, e.g. Yard, Yes,...

 

Using the letter Y to represent either a consonant or a vowel isn't accurate, since it can represent different sounds. However, referring to vowels by using IPA characters kind of kills the joke

This video was amusing to me. Here is your typical modern collector who dumpster dives for standees and posters at gamestop. He then takes the posters and puts them on his wall or just throws them out again. The standees he keeps are all Halo xbox stuff or Battefield.

The funny part comes at about 5:48. He found a Nintendo 3DS poster for Yoshi's Island. Guaranteed collectors item and to be worth money. He states that he doesn't know what to do with it and will probably get rid of it or throw it out
