So you can play both Japan and US games. I also did an RGB mod using an amplifier circuit and used the C-SYNC line for the Sync signal. So it's more compatible with some TVs. To complete this setup, I changed the power led to a blue one... I include a third party (modded) RGB Scart cable for best possible image quality. 110V original Nintendo power supply(Japan). That is some nice work. How hard of a mod is that? I've been considering switching out the LED lights in my N64 as well.
