Hey everyone, I'm selling a couple NR discs here. Trying to load all this stuff off to someone who might appreciate it more than I. Twin Snakes (two discs) ~ 350$(SOLD) Freeloader ~ 50$ PN03 ~ 125$ PSO 1&2 ~ 125$(SOLD) The Twin Snakes prototype has a video here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MlA56tP28LA it has various modes, like infinite ammo, items on command, health bar modifiers, etc. A mini debug menu if you will. I havent really messed around with the other ones. I never played the originals and only used PSO to rip NR discs for folks who needed it done.
MGS is NTSC. I recieved the freeloader in a lot with PSO, I dont have any details on it beyond that. It seems to function fine with the retail hardware. PSO now on hold!
The MGS proto has more than a mini debug menu. It has a full debug menu, complete with map jumping (including at least one E3 map), warp to boss, and debug options that give you more weapons than the buttons on controller 3 do (MGS2 AK47-U, shaver, RBG6. but none of then function). But, you only can access this debug menu if you boot it from the Dolphin emulator, or you do something which I'm not aware of on real hardware. Go figure.
Interesting, I never fiddled with it enough to find all that. Kinda strange you'd know all that though, seeing as theres no date or anything on the disc. I realize theres multiple copies of reviews like this, but with no date listed? Mind if I ask how you came by that information?
It makes sense Freeloader came with PSO in a lot. That way you can run code (via the region locked PSO) on any NR Reader regardless of if it's PAL/NTSC. Someone probably just built/ripped the Freeloader disc and burnt it on an NR disc
did you ever try what emu mentioned? i mean, it's just "review code" so i bet the exploit is in there...
Last time I spoke to him via PM (02-24-2012) he told me the disc was on hold, however the front page of this topic doesn't mention that...
